Cinpres Gas Injection is restructuring its North American operations to strengthen customer service and support in the region.
The move signals a refocused energy in the market. Amongst the changes:
Mr Kevin Brady will return to the role of Sales Manager (North America), a position he held from 2003-06. His 25 years of experience in the industry includes a spell as sales director of a Hong Kong company. He was given an Industry Recognition Award at the Alliance of Plastics Processors conference earlier this year.
Mr Lee Pereces, one of the key Cinpres executives in North America, will take a more wide ranging role as a global process specialist, bringing a range of skills and experience to the Cinpres technical support team.
Cinpres has seen a recent upturn in new orders although the company stresses that it approaches the business boost with “cautious optimism” and does not regard it as a sign of “anything other than the fact that we had a good couple of months”.
Jon Butler, Managing Director of Cinpres, said the Michigan-based US operation was strongly focused on delivering value for customers. “Much of our technology is bought by customers who are looking to lower their fixed costs, and the pressures of the recession make this a key focus for us,” he said.
“I don’t believe the US market is heading out of recession yet, although there are signs in Europe of a slight resurgence. We’re very, very cautious about this, we are listening carefully to our customers, and the emphasis is on providing them with the ability to weather the downturn and prepare for recovery.”
